Seeking Retail Professional with a passion for gourmet food and strong selling skills, to assume role of Retail Sales Lead for our Gourmet Specialty Shop in the Alderwood Mall (Lynnwood WA).

Oil & Vinegar is a European Franchise concept and the Alderwood Mall location is Corporate-owned. The preferred candidate has interest in franchise ownership in the future.

Our business model revolves around a unique tasting experience and offering amazing products and culinary gifts to our guests. The international assortment, merchandising, new and innovative kiosk design, create an inviting atmosphere for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. We are looking for a passionate individual who is crazy about food and sharing a passion for food with our guests as well as colleagues, thus creating a unique shopping experience. As a Sales Lead on the retail team you will assume the role of guide, teacher, entertainer and chef. Simply put, you will be the local Ambassador for the Oil & Vinegar brand.

Reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for achievement of sales goals, merchandising, operational duties, and other daily tasks typically required in running a retail business in the Specialty Food Industry.

1) Personal abilities/skills Required:

- Passionate about food and cooking.

- Exceptional communication, organizational and follow-up skills.

- Proven ability to set and exceed personal sales goals.

- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.

- Availability to work nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.

- Ability to lift and mobilize items weighing up to 30 lbs.

2) Business Qualifications Needed:

- Guest Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the guest remains the top priority

- Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow-up

- Leadership: Ability to respectfully challenge and motivate self and fellow associates

- Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques

- Business Analysis: Knowledge of store reports in order to maximize performance, drive volume, and react to trends in the business

- Systems: Ability to proficiently utilize POS system, email, and other MS office software

3) Personal & Professional Development provided:

- On-the-job training related to store-specific selling techniques, customer service, and retail operations
